It is one of the processes of bonding, that is, the permanent joining of materials resulting in a joint with physical material continuity. Currently, this method of joining metals is the most common way of welding. The joint itself is formed by a physical process (heating), a type of joint that joins materials by locally melting and solidifying them with or without the addition of a filler metal (welding additive). It is used for joining metals (mainly steel) and artificial plastics. The molten filler, together with the melted edges of the parts to be joined, forms a weld when it cools.
In our plant we perform welding using methods 111, 131, 135, 141 based on the PN-EN ISO 3834-2 standard and PN-EN 1090-2 standard
Welding methods
1. electric welding : it is used to weld metal sheets from 1 mm to 80 mm thick, using a welding machine, at temperatures up to 4000°C the device bases its work on the phenomenon of electric arc
– welding with covered electrodes (Method 111)
– submerged arc welding
– gas shielded welding
– Metoda MIG 131 (Metal Inert Gas) – w sposób automatyczny lub półautomatyczny, metoda ta jest stosowana do napawania i spawania i we wszystkich pozycjach poprzez spawanie łukowe elektrodą topliwą w osłonie gazu obojętnego (AR, He, Ar + He)
– Metoda MAG 135 (Metal Active Gas) – w osłonie gazu aktywnego chemicznie (CO2, CO2 + gaz obojętny) jest to spawanie łukowe
– Metoda TIG 141 (Tungsten Inert Gas) – w osłonie gazów obojętnych (Ar, He, Ar + He) jest to spawanie łukowe elektrodą nietopliwą Umożliwia ona łączenie ze sobą różnych metali i stopów jak również spawanie prawie wszystkich metali. The resulting weld metal is an alloy of the molten part of the parent material and the filler material (wire, rod, stick) fed into the glow zone of the arc. More often used are alloys similar in composition to the native material, however, with admixtures that result in an improvement in the quality of welded joints in its various aspects. TIG is characterized by its ability to be used in all positions.
– Arc welding with cored wire.
2. gas welding 311-G : is used in welding sheet metal from 0.4 mm to 40 mm thick, at temperatures up to 3100°C usually with acetylene combustion.
3.. plasma welding ,
4. laser welding ,
5. hybrid welding ,
6. electron welding ,
7. slag welding ,
8. friction welding.
