In order to meet the needs of forest road construction, we have developed ecological and efficient steel water drains that make it possible to effectively drain even a very large amount of rainwater from the crown of the road. In our products, we use solutions that are based on Czech and Austrian experience, which makes them work well in practice. Our waterfalls are efficient, reliable and do not affect the comfort of forest roads in any way.

For the manufacture of functional steel water drains, we use an innovative material: COR-TEN® steel (this is an option, as standard, wowdrains are made of structural steel) with increased resistance to weather conditions and increased resistance to mechanical damage. The cross-section of the waterfall is 100×120 mm, which allows for a flow rate of 40 m³/h with a 3% drop. We can customize the length of the waterfall according to individual customer needs. The range of standard lengths is 3000-6000 mm with increments of 1000 mm.

Water drains are elements built into the pavement structure that serve an anti-erosion and retention function. By efficiently draining rainwater, they protect the surface of a road or trail from damage, as well as slow down surface runoff and make the water retain longer, which in turn has a positive effect on the entire forest ecosystem. The waterfalls we offer perform these tasks perfectly, and at the same time look aesthetically pleasing and can be easily matched to the forest surroundings by choosing one of the colors available in our palette.

Rapmet’s steel water drains are a solution for years to come. Thoughtful design and the use of high-quality materials make them very durable and can successfully carry heavy loads caused by the passage of heavy vehicles. Steel elements do not change their properties under the influence of extreme temperatures and UV radiation.

Our waterfalls offer a variety of installation methods, including options that do not require concrete, which makes them much easier to install and increases flexibility in adapting them to the specifics of the site. The waterfalls are CE marked, which confirms their high quality and compliance with European standards.

As a result, they can be safely installed on slope roads, skid trails, hiking trails, mountainous areas, upland areas and anywhere where the longitudinal slope exceeds 2%.
